The answer

Short answer Yes, with an active VGA-to-composite converter used VGA → RCA. A plain VGA-to-RCA cable does not convert an ordinary VGA signal.

What you need

The cable or adapter class

  • VGA video source → VGA2VID2 → composite-video display.

Before you buy

What must be true

  • Composite output with PAL/NTSC selection; exact timing limits are not normalized.

Watch out

Direction and exact products matter

Connectors that fit do not prove a connection works. Check that the exact cable or adapter is documented for VGA → RCA (composite video), and that both devices support what you need.
