The answer

Short answer Only into a display whose VGA-style input is documented as accepting component video, using a matching adapter. An ordinary VGA input is not enough.

What you need

The cable or adapter class

  • Documented use: component-video source → ADP-CV1 → NEC VT37 COMPUTER input.

Before you buy

What must be true

  • Requires the component-capable VT37 input described by the source; another VGA-shaped port is unresolved.

Watch out

Direction and exact products matter

Connectors that fit do not prove a connection works. Check that the exact cable or adapter is documented for RCA (component video) → VGA, and that both devices support what you need.
