- TV internal source → TV panel
- audio
- TV optical digital OUT → optical cable → Sonos optical adapter → Arc HDMI socket
- data
- No USB data; current Sonos app setup remains required.
- power
- TV and Arc use separate supplies.
What the path requires
- Sonos-compatible optical adapter, optical cable and Arc setup.
- TV output set to a format supported by this optical path; stereo PCM baseline.
- No direct staring into an optical transmitter; use safe external label observations.
Connector conversion does not preserve every feature
The supplied adapter makes a supported optical-input route for Arc. It does not create eARC capability from optical. Control and format limitations belong to the whole path.
