Pins & wiring

Pinout

Choose the exact wiring. Pin numbers follow its stated view; a schematic does not establish physical positions. Check your exact device before wiring.

What the status labels mean
Confirmed
Recorded research passes agree within this variant; this is not independent human review or hardware validation.
Single source
Only one underlying document, or one pass, supports this assignment.
Device-specific
Supported for the named equipment or wiring only. Check your device’s manual.
Unverified
Missing or conflicting evidence. Do not wire from this row.
Not connected
The source explicitly says NC, no contact or no pin for this wiring.

  • P199 Micro SATA — **Partial**: named drive versus standard host/device — A's Intel X18-M agrees on the common signal and rail positions but explicitly does not connect P5/P6 (optional 5 V); B's standard defines those rail contacts. A assigns P7 DAS and P8/P9 optional manufacturing use; B retains standard device P7 reserved and P8/P9 vendor-specific/unverified, versus host ground/NC uses. Keep all three variants rather than imposing standard optional functions on that drive. Intel-authored manual is hosted by Kingston; B uses SATA-IO directly.
  • X18-M P5/P6 are not connected and P7 is DAS. Other models/later optional P8/P9 functions are unverified.
